The Playdaters
by Neil Haven First dates are stressful, especially when you keep score. Two roommates exploit a dating website to play a ludicrous game of dares and pranks on unsuspecting members of the opposite sex. The two possess the ability to manipulate time and reality, a power which they employ to debate the rules and comment on the flow of the pranks. As the rules of the game break down, so do the rules of a conventional romantic comedy. The MadLab twist? On Fridays, the two roommates are Spencer and Erwin, while on Saturdays, it's Stephanie and Erma. The Playdaters features a crude hand puppet, waffles, and juvenile shenanigans.
