What can you do in 3 minutes or less?
A global pandemic has moved our Theatre Roulette Short Play Festival to this Winter, but we aren’t letting that stop us from creating art this Spring! We’d like to invite you to participate in our Blackjack Short Video Festival! We will curate a selection of our 21 favorite videos to be the first ever digital production MadLab has produced.
You do not need to be a film creator to participate, we are not expecting any fancy equipment here. Get creative, work with what you have, make something special from nothing - it’s the MadLab way.

Theme: All In
Go big or go home, lay it all on the table, these videos should be “All In”. You can interpret the theme any way you like but it should tie back to being “All In” in some way.

Guidelines:
- Videos can be no longer than 3:00 minutes.
- Videos must practice good social distancing and obey the stay at home guidelines.
- Videos can be silly, funny, dramatic, scary. Whatever it is we’re here for it.
- Videos should be created specifically for this festival and under the constraints of our current societal situation.
- Although videos are not expected to be IMAX high quality, we would like - clear video and audio. Try to avoid non-artistic out of focus shots, audio with high background or large fluctuations in volume and video/audio quality.
- All work submitted should be your own, videos containing copyright infringement (including music) will not qualify.
- Please include proper accreditation in your submission, any music, images, or additional content should be properly accredited to the individual or artist. If you aren't sure, don't use it. Send your credit information in the body of the email, we will add the credits for you.

Email your video to submissionsmadlab@gmail.com with the subject line Blackjack Short Video. Video Submissions are due by 5/17/2020. The Blackjack Short Video Festival will be released on 5/30/2020. This is a fundraiser for MadLab, no participants will be getting paid.
