MadLab is proud to offer a theatre internship for any interested high school students in the Central Ohio area. The ultimate goal of this internship is to give students the opportunity to learn various aspects of a theatre production, including directing and acting skills. The intern(s) will work closely with MadLab’s production staff in planning and staging the remaining 2015-2016 MadLab season productions. They will also have the opportunity to participate in various acting workshops.

Beginning in November 2015 and continuing through The Young Writers Short Play Festival (July 2016) interns will receive hands on experience in the following areas:

• Acting and Voice
  
• Assistant Directing
  
• Stage Management
  
• Assistant Producing
  
• Lighting Design/Operation
  
• Set Design
  
• Technical Booth Operation
  
• House Management
  

MadLab will be offering 3, non-paid internship positions. To apply, the applicant must submit the following information in the the link provided below :

• A brief (250 word) essay/explanation on why the applicant wishes to participate in the program.
