First Show - Young Writers Short Play Festival 2014 Most Recent Show - Skillet Tag Chelsea began her theater experience at a very young age, gracing Normandy Elementary school with her unique and unintentional blend of clumsiness and over-exaggerated facial expressions as a queen who loved chocolate cake. At age 9, Chelsea moved to England, where she had roles in various productions through school, and a variety of original works during her years with the Bourne Youth Theatre. After detouring away from theater, she had her first stage appearance in 12 years in MadLab's 2013 Theatre Roulette, where her most memorable moment was maintaining a straight face as a gallon of whipped cream made its way down her ear canal. Shortly thereafter, Chelsea then trained in improv at both Second City and iO East in her native Chicago. After moving back to Columbus, she auditioned for 2015's Theatre Roulette - giving new meaning to the word "cast", by spending the entire rehearsal process in casts of various fluorescent colors. In her free time, she is a fitness fanatic who loves lifting heavy things, yoga, dance, and swimming. She repeats written things in 3's (e.g., I hate, hate, hate writing bios), and occasionally verbal things much more frequently. Her dogs are her children, and she has no shame about that. She still loves chocolate cake, but only the vegan kind, and if you combine it with coffee or red wine she will be your loyal friend to the death. Chelsea couldn't be happier to be a part of this crazy, creative, dedicated, and hilarious team known as MadLab.
