THEATRE ROULETTE is back again. Now in its eighth year, it is the longest running annual shorts festival in Central Ohio.  The plays are broken up into three separate nights of programming. Be sure to check the schedule below to see what play is being shown on what day, or you can just take your chances.  All shows are at 8pm with the exception of May 26th where all 11 plays will be performed starting at 2pm.

THE CAT IN HER HEAD by Bonnie Lake

This is a story of family, exploring dreams, reality and the ties of love.  It is a look at the devastation of Alzheimer's Disease and its impact on a dysfunctional family, who only have one thing going for them: a deep core of love that binds them to one another.  in this piece, dreams and reality, fantasy and reality blur, much like madness itself, much like metaphor and dance, which are utilized to draw us near to this world.

This tells the story of a man who has a little stuffed animal attached to his head.  He makes an appointment with the Department of Stuffed Animal Removal in hopes of getting the animal removed through a “potentially life-threatening procedure”.  He gets the procedure, but it comes with a really uncomfortable side-effect.

A struggling L.A. screenwriter is convinced his next door neighbors are serial killers.  Desperate and frightened, he presents evidence of his assertion in the hopes that the audience will tell the police if anything happens to him.  In doing so, he paints a vivid and dark portrait of a neighborhood gone mad.
