The grimly realistic GRAND GUIGNOL is back at MadLab and grander than ever. Debuting in Paris, France, in 1897, the sensationalist production dramatizes macabre subject matter. This production is not recommended for children. This year’s edition - in the form of a full-length play, shows us Justin and Stephanie and how they cope with Justin’s slow descent into madness over Stephanie’s past indiscretions. Also, for the first time, MadLab presents theatre-in-the-round. This intimate production is the perfect choice for this under-utilized and challenging presentation style.
