UNVEILED by Michele Cuomo

A woman in Afghanistan uses books as bricks because she cannot read.

A woman in NY undergoes torturous beauty rituals because she does not feel attractive.

A woman in Egypt finds why she does not below.

And a merchant in Pakistan tries to understand an American woman who wants to buy a Burqua.

UNVEILED is the chronicle of Michele’s exploration of the play PHAEDRA and her unsuccessful attempt to costume it the way she would have liked.  She learns that Ancient Greek Tragedy cannot begin to help us understand our world today.
